There seems to be a bug with site.css

May 22, 2012 at 5:50 PM

Has anyone noticed that the browse.cshtml rendering drops all of the images, etc. BELOW the left GenreMenu.cshtml if there are more items than can appear to the right of the sidebar? For example, select Classical vs. Pop.

I am not an expert on CSS and have not been able to get the browse list to appear in the main content area to the right of the left nav menu as expected.

Does anyone know what needs to change in site.css to make this work properly?

Ok, made the following changes that seem to work:

  • Added width and border-left to main.
  • Removed border-right from categories

Please let me know if there is a better way to do this.

#main
{
    overflow: hidden;
    width: 700px;
    padding: 0 0 15px 10px;
    float: left;
    border-left: #5d5a53 1px dotted;
}

#categories
{
    font-family: Constantia, Georgia, serif;
    list-style-type: none;
    padding-right: 10px;
    margin: 0 25px 0 0;
    float: left;
}
